The Science Department is committed to expanding the scientific literacy of students at Alleman High School.  Everyday events are interpreted in terms of scientific concepts and principles.  This science background prepares the individual to consider and evaluate the problems of modern society such as: resource management, environmental conservation and alternative energy resources.  Science literacy gives the student the opportunity to learn, practice and master skills relevant to their everyday world and future professional goals.
