Alleman High School - Activities - Math League
Activities: Math League:

Math League contests are open to all students who are interested in taking tests consisting of six problems from algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to logarithms, sequences, and probability.
There are six contests throughout the year.

After each contest, the top five scores are sent in as the team score. Subsequently, a score report is sent showing all team scores from throughout Illinois.  Students compete against team and individual scores.

The Math League is dedicated to bringing challenging mathematics materials to students. The Math League specializes in math contests, books, and computer software designed to stimulate interest and confidence in mathematics for students from the 4th grade through high school. Over 1 million students participate in Math League contests each year. Contest problems are designed to cover a range of mathe-matical knowledge for each grade level. All of the problems on each contest require no additional knowledge of mathematics beyond the grade level they test.
