Alleman High School - Activities - SADD
Activities: Sigma Alpha Delta:
 

To accept the responsibility of living and promoting a drug free life by exemplifying strong Christian values. It is the goal of this organization to be a positive influence among the Alleman community.

Members pledge to abstain from usage and/or possession of drugs and alcohol.

Activities include:

  • Members meet on a monthly basis
  • Red Ribbon Week
  • Tobacco Awareness
  • Guest Speakers/All School Assemblies
  • Pre-Prom Assembly
  • Help the R.I. County Probations Officers with their campaign against drinking and driving
  • T.A.T.U. [Teens Against Tobacco Use]
  • 3rd & 4th grade Easter Party
  • Members visit the elementary schools to discuss drugs and alcohol usage and its effects.  They help students to "Just Say No!" D.A.R.E.
  • Attend Illinois Teen Institute Leadership Conference during the summer and the annual IDEA convention.
