Alleman High School - Activities - Student Hunger Drive
Activities: Student Hunger Drive:

Mission Statement
To unite and empower area high school students in the commitment
to feed the hungry and promote volunteerism."

Doing it again in the Fall of 2010 with another opportunity for area high schools to join in the 25th annual Student Hunger Drive.  Alleman students eagerly joined in and their efforts nailed another all-time high of 174,672 pounds of food still good enough for a first place finish in Division B.  The total represents an average of 386.4 pounds per student which is the highest average of all area schools.

Alleman students willingly participate in a wide variety of activities in order to raise donations of money or non-perishable food items.  Some of this year's activities included a walk-a-thon, donut eating contest, Trivia night, door-to-door collections, 1st Period challenge, and a junior high party.  It is a great opportunity for young people to get involved with the community and have a lot of fun at the same time.

Seniors put in a tremendous effort to win on the last stretch of the relay.
