Rev. Christopher Glancy, C.S.V. ‘78

Entered the Viatorian novitiate in 1982 after finishing a B.A. in Sociology at Loyola University, Chicago.  He took his first vows in 1983 and professed final vows in 1986.  Fr. Chris served for 4 years in Bogota, Columbia at San Viator School there.  Then he completed his studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago for a Masters in Divinity with Mission Specialization.  He was ordained on April 17, 1993 and served as Vocation Director for the Viatorians.  In September 1998, Fr. Chris was a founding member of the new Viatorian mission foundation in Belize, Central America.  Since 2002 he has been pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Corozal Town, Belize.  The parish has 23 village missions and 19 Catholic-Public primary schools, and a new high school, Chunox St. Viator Vocational High School that began classes in August 2004.  You can reach Fr.
