Rev. Greg Steckel ‘70

Ordained to the Priesthood in 1981.  Father has served in prison ministry at the East Moline Correctional Center since 1987.  As a correctional center chaplain, Father is in a unique position to offer confidential support to inmates as they struggle to change their whole outlook on life.  With the help of volunteers and a variety of programs, he offers the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that the inmates have not heard before.  Father has recently transferred to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas to continue his prison ministry.
