Sr. Cecilia Southwood O.V.M.F. ‘79

Left the U.S.A. in February 1980 at the age of 18 to enter an International Order in Italy.  Sister took her first vows in 1981 and final vows on October 13, 1988 with the Oblate Sisters of the Virgin Mary of Fatima.  In 1997, she traveled to Sri Lanka to open a mission house but returned to Italy after discovering she had a weak immune system.  Sr. Cecilia is currently in a Parish in Milano working with the immigrants, the sick and the elderly.
