Alleman Athletic Complex Sees Major Upgrades Thanks to Community Support

Over the past two years, the Alleman Athletic Complex has undergone a series of renovations designed to enhance the experience for Pioneer student-athletes and fans. These improvements were made possible through the generosity of alumni, families, and local businesses who continue to support Alleman athletics.

The soccer field upgrades include a new grandstand, soccer locker rooms, and press box, creating an improved game-day environment for players and spectators. Key supporters of these projects include Tony and Pat Hodge, Jon Granet and Granet Construction, Jayme Massa and Centennial Construction, Brent Burkett, Jeni Hodge Burkett, and Alexis Burkett, Mike, Eileen, and Jack Wendt, and Coaches Randy and Emily Bollman.

The softball program added a new locker room, providing players with a dedicated space for preparation and team development. This project was supported by Alleman players and families, Adam Bain, Fred Bain, Mick Claeys, Tom Sikardi, Tom Wood, Kevin Scott, Tony Hodge, and Coach Blake Humphrey, along with community partners including Black Hawk Bank and Trust, WFI LLC, LMI, Thompson Tin Heating and Air Conditioning, the DeMeulenaere Family, Josh Anderson Painting, American Electric, Granet Construction, Seiffert Building Supplies, ABC Supply, Farm and Fleet (Moline), and McDonald’s.

Several improvements have also been completed for the baseball program, including a new pitcher’s mound, weighted field tarps, varsity field maintenance and renovations, new concrete in the sophomore and varsity dugouts, outfield wind screens, and tarps for the sophomore field. Supporters of these upgrades include Jon Granet (Granet Construction), Gerard Huiskamp, Darrell & Mary Anne Reynolds, Wilburn Custom Built, Bush Turf, Michael Peters, Augustana Baseball, and Coach Smith.

Together, these improvements reflect the strong commitment of the Alleman community to providing outstanding facilities for Pioneer athletics and supporting the continued success of Alleman student-athletes. As Alleman looks ahead, the school remains deeply grateful for the supporters who help make these improvements possible and who continue to strengthen the tradition of Pioneer athletics.
