Soaring Higher: Tori Thomas Sets Sights on LA 2028
A member of our Pioneer family, Tori Thomas, is destined for great heights. From her days setting records on the Alleman track to her dominant collegiate career at the University of Illinois, Tori has consistently pushed the boundaries of the pole vault. Now, as a post-collegiate athlete, she has officially shifted her focus to the world stage: the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Alleman Athletic Complex Sees Major Upgrades Thanks to Community Support
Over the past two years, the Alleman Athletic Complex has undergone a series of renovations designed to enhance the experience for Pioneer student-athletes and fans. These improvements were made possible through the generosity of alumni, families, and local businesses who continue to support Alleman athletics.

The Alleman Math Team delivered an extraordinary performance at Regionals, earning 1st Place Overall for the 7th consecutive year, a testament to the hard work, discipline, and determination of these outstanding Pioneers.

Drama Dept Hall of Fame Induction
Step into the spotlight and celebrate the rich legacy of performance at Alleman Catholic High School. The Alleman Drama Department recognizes its most influential contributors through the Drama Hall of Fame, ensuring that the talent, dedication, and “theatrical magic” is never forgotten. This year’s inductees are Kay O’Brien and Sue Williams.
Fish Fry: March 6
Lent is just around the corner, which means our annual Fish Fry is almost here! The Alleman Fish Fry is scheduled for Friday, March 6th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is also the same evening as the Spring Meet the Pioneers event. All proceeds from the Fish Fry will support our athletic programs.

Edward (Ed) Lerch, born in Rock Island in 1894, was the gifted architect behind Alleman High School, that has continued to serve generations of students and families.

We are grateful to our alumni and friends whose generosity has made scholarships possible, opening the door to a Catholic education for more families. This past year we awarded over $90,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, incoming freshman and current students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Varsity Football is back... in black!
The Alleman football program returned to Varsity play under Friday night lights for the first time in three years on Friday, August 29, and for the first time in program history, debuted new alternative black uniforms!
