Planned giving is a meaningful way to make a lasting impact. Bequests, charitable gift annuities, and other planned gifts strengthen Alleman’s long-term sustainability, allowing us to plan for the future with confidence.

Edward (Ed) Lerch, born in Rock Island in 1894, was the gifted architect behind Alleman High School, that has continued to serve generations of students and families. 

We are grateful to our alumni and friends whose generosity has made scholarships possible, opening the door to a Catholic education for more families. This past year we awarded over $90,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, incoming freshman and current students for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Alleman football program returned to Varsity play under Friday night lights for the first time in three years on Friday, August 29, and for the first time in program history, debuted new alternative black uniforms!

We’re excited to announce that all of Alleman High School yearbooks have been digitized and are now available online!

In July, a group of alumni from the Class of 1964 gathered at the school for a special luncheon, enjoying a tour of the building and sharing fond memories of their time as students.

Under the banner of “Proclaiming Christ: Yesterday, Today, and Forever” we are joyfully celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Diocese of Peoria! Part of this time of celebration includes regional Masses honoring our 150 years of faith, ministry, and mission across central Illinois.
