Knights of Columbus Essay Contest

Congratulations to Theresa Hoffman who won the State Level of the Knights of Columbus Essay Contest for the 10th grade. Her essay has been submitted to the Supreme Council for the next level of judging. 

The prompt for the essay was “out of the 267 popes that have led the Catholic Church, who are your three favorite popes and why?” These are a few sentences from her essay…. “Many popes have taken on this role, many have left a legacy behind, and I had the opportunity to understand more about the popes and why they are such a significant part of our church. Popes Peter, Innocent, and John Paul all gave us a good example to fully give our lives to Christ.
