Helpful Information BEFORE Homecoming Week
Homecoming T-shirts - Please see the order form here. Orders and money are due Tuesday, September 9th, by the end of the school day to Ms. Salmonson (room 219).
Pioneer Pace (event for feeder school students)
All Pace forms or online registrations are due on Friday, September 12 to Alleman High School. (Please make checks payable to AHS Student Council)
Student Hunger Drive - Chick-fil-A lunch - Student Hunger Drive Chick Fil A Order Form
Alleman students/staff can pre-order lunch to be delivered to Alleman after the assembly, at noon on Friday, 9/19 (Friday, 9/19 is noon dismissal)
Order forms and money are due Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, to enjoy a sandwich on Friday, the 19th! Turn in the form and money to the main office!
Homecoming Dance Tickets
Go on sale Monday, September 15th - cost is $20.00 each
Ordering information will be explained during English classes on Friday, 9/12
Students can purchase tickets from Ms. Salmonson (Room 219) or Mrs. Thompson (Room 221) before or after school, starting on Monday, September 15th, through Friday, September 19th
Tickets will still be available for purchase when entering the dance on Saturday, September 20th
DEADLINE FOR “Out of School Guest” forms is Tuesday, Sept. 16th - must be turned in to the main office for approval

ALL Students- Please remain in dress code
Freshmen, please wear a “sunburn RED” collared shirt
Sophomores, please wear a “seaweed GREEN” collared shirt
Juniors, please wear a “sunshine YELLOW” collared shirt
Seniors, please wear an “ocean BLUE” collared shirt
Staff, please wear “sunscreen WHITE”

Out-of-school guests - A guest may be invited to the dance and permits must be obtained for a guest from the main office. These permits must be completed and turned in no later than Tuesday, September 16th.
7 pm - Home JV Football game vs. Quincy at Augustana
Student Hunger drive will be having our food theme collection tonight. “Sugar,sugar, sugar, ohhh honey, honey “ bring your bags of sugar or squeeze bottles of honey ! Load the Wagon !!
Tuesday, September 16:
Students & Staff - “Slumber Party!”. Dress in your pajamas/slippers. All costumes must be in good taste. This means that it should not be offensive to anyone – students or adults. Students must be able to participate in class without obstructing the view of others, and hear and see what is happening in class. No face paint allowed.

6:00 pm - Varsity Soccer vs. Galesburg at Alleman Sports Complex. Students dress in a “Pajamas” theme for the game
Wednesday, September 17:
Students & Staff - “Sea of Blue!” “It's like riding a cloud. Except the cloud is water.”
Blue out! Dress in shades of blue from head to toe!. All costumes must be in good taste. This means that it should not be offensive to anyone – students or adults. Students must be able to participate in class without obstructing the view of others, and hear and see what is happening in class. No face paint allowed.

Deadline for Alleman students/staff to pre-order Chick-fil-a lunch to be delivered to Alleman after the assembly, at noon on Friday, 9/19 (noon dismissal). Turn in the form and money to the main office!
5:00 - 7:00 pm - Pioneer Pace & Carnival in the courtyard. Students K-8 can sign up for the night of the event but are not guaranteed a drawstring bag after the deadline. Please complete the form and either drop it off in the main office, mail it in, or bring it on the night of the event. All families and students are invited to the carnival.
Thursday, September 18:
Students & Staff - “Bikers vs. Surfers!” “Bikers aren't supposed to like surfing, but I don't care!”

5 pm - Sophomore Volleyball vs. Rock Island in Morris Gym
7 pm - Varsity Volleyball vs. Rock Island in Morris Gym. Students dress in “Pink Out” theme for the game
Friday, September 19:
Students & Staff- “The Crowning - How will this movie end?”
Students & Staff may wear AHS Spirit Wear- This includes an AHS top and jeans, solid color athletic pants, or appropriate length athletic shorts
Class Schedule for the Day - Noon Dismissal
11:15 am - Homecoming Coronation Assembly in Morris Gym
12 pm - Chick-fil-A Lunch Day delivered to students after assembly - MUST have been PRE-ORDERED and paid for by Wed. 9/17 - benefitting Student Hunger Drive

6 pm - Freshman Football vs. Galesburg at Augustana
7:25 pm - Homecoming Court Presentation on the Augustana football field
7:45 pm - Varsity Football vs. Galesburg at Augustana. Students dress in “Allemania” theme for the game.
Saturday, September 20:
7 pm - 10 pm: Homecoming Dance at Alleman
HC Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 per ticket.
All students must arrive by 8:30 p.m. and will not be permitted to return after leaving.
Rock Island Police will be on duty at check-in (with a breathalyzer) and in the parking lot. Please stay above the influence….so you can cruise into Homecoming!!

FORMAL SCHOOL DANCE DRESS CODE:
Male Students: dress shoes, dress pants, dress shirt, and tie are permitted. A sweater or a sport coat is optional.
Female Students: dress shoes, dress, skirt, or dress pants, and blouse are permitted. Bare midriffs, or midriffs, and side cut-outs that include flesh-colored material, or plunging necklines, are not allowed.
Students who do not obey the dress code will be asked to leave and change, or may be asked to wear a sweater or coat while at the dance.
The administration has the final decision and has the right to instruct a student to leave an event for improper dress
