Varsity Football is back... in black!

The Alleman football program returned to Varsity play under Friday night lights for the first time in three years on Friday, August 29, and for the first time in program history, debuted new alternative black uniforms! A packed house of students, families, and alumni — including one who drove all the way from Missouri — cheered on our Pioneers to a 62-13 victory over Walther Christian Academy that earned Coach Tom Barber his first victory as Varsity Head Coach.

Before the game Alleman football alumni and past coaches were honored including: Head Coach Mike Tracey (1981-1992), Head Coach Dana Just (1993-2000), Head Coach Dave DeJaegher (2001-2014), and Head Coach Todd Depoorter (2015-2020).

Leading up to our return to Varsity play, our alumni and supporters have been instrumental in providing for new uniforms, helmets, and and additional support of our football program. We are very grateful for all of you and look forward to seeing everyone in the stands to support our Pioneers for the rest of the season!
