Caroline Adam: Algebra & Trigonometry

I just graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. As an Alleman alumni, and now a teacher here, I am excited to give back to the school that gave so much to me growing up. I look forward to being involved in sporting events and clubs, particularly Dance Marathon, and to form relationships with the students and staff.

Emily Bollman: Biology & Health

I have three years of experience in education and approximately five years of coaching soccer, including the past three years as an assistant coach for the Alleman girls’ soccer team. I began my teaching career as a substitute at Alleman, Seton, and Jordan, where I served as a long-term substitute for 6th and 7th grade English. The following school year, I transitioned into a full-time role as the K–8 PE teacher at Seton. Last year, I worked toward earning my teaching certification, which I achieved in May. I’m excited to be in the classroom full-time, where I can build meaningful connections with students and support their learning and growth every day.

Lisa Brandel: Geometry

My first teaching job was here at Alleman - I was here for 4 years until I moved to Arizona, where I taught for 5 years. I returned to Alleman after that for another 3 years, until I decided to stay home with my daughter. After a 20 year break from teaching, I took a job at Jordan for 3 years and I am now returning to Alleman to teach Geometry. I am really excited to be teaching in a high school again, and I love teaching Geometry! I am really excited to be back at Alleman - it feels like I have come full circle!

Ella Darrow: Physics, Chemistry, and

Indtroduction to Psychology I just graduated from the University of Notre Dame in the spring. During my time there, I studied Neuroscience and Behavior, as well as participated in a research lab that explored the development of cognition and learning in children. These experiences are ones that I am excited to be able to share with my students, and I hope to spark their interest in the sciences. What I look forward to most this school year will be rejoining the Alleman family, but this time, on the other side of the classroom.

Jon Kelley: US. History

I have a bachelor’s degree in history and this is my first year teaching full-time. I look forward to finding my “groove” as a teacher and getting the students excited about learning history.

Ryan Ohr: Librarian

I’m very excited to be the new librarian at Alleman High School because I get to foster a love for reading for all our students. The library is such a beautiful space where students can explore new ideas, develop their interests, and grow academically. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with teachers and helping to make the library a hub of creativity and knowledge for the entire school community.

Amy Trimble: Choir Director

I am thrilled to join the Alleman family as Choir Director after being the Music Director for Alleman’s theatre productions since 2016. I am passionate about music and am excited to help grow the choir program over the next year. Watch for more details about our first (big!) holiday choir concert in December, and we hope to be featured in KWQC’s Choirs of Christmas!
